goBaby Travel, created by Brooklyn mom Natalie Kaminski, helps city visitors rent strollers, car seats, high chairs, bath gear, and other baby necessities from local parents. Those who offer up their gear get the perk of earning some cash back. Renters search listings by category, location, and available dates and then submit a booking request; rentees set the price, which can run from $5 a day for toys to $20 a day for strollers (there’s a built-in tool that makes pricing recommendations for a given item, in a given location). Both parties hash out the pick-up and return details. Payments run through the app to the owner’s Stripe account; the app takes an 8 percent commission from each party. For items not as described, there’s a full refund. Download the app online.
