Where to donate used baby gear

Clearing the apartment of outgrown baby stuff is one of life’s most liberating experiences. Unfortunately, most of the city’s thrift shops—Housing Works included—do not accept baby gear or clothes. So unless you’ve got a friend or relative willing to take every last toy, bouncy, and diaper off your hands, consider reaching out to one of these charities in need of gently used baby and toddler items.
