Game Day

Tot-friendly spots to watch Sunday football

Game Day

Babies and bars don't exactly blend. But if you'd like to watch a little football—as a family—somewhere other than your living room, here are a few places that won't bring glares from fans.

Despite its rowdy rep, Brother Jimmy’s is pretty family-friendly with highchairs, crayons, and activity place mats. Bonus: you get one free kid's meal with every $10 you spend on adult food. Regulars know to ask for a rubber Gator toy. Locations on the on the UES, UWS, in midtown, Murray Hill, and Union Square.

Though it isn’t a sports bar, Big Daddy’s Diner has plenty of flat screen TVs and a super kid-friendly vibe. Plus you’ll avoid the heavy drinkers. Locations on the UES, UWS, and in Gramercy Park.

Lots of families watch NFL games at The Stadium Grill in Times Square, where hardcore fans tend to crowd around the 80-foot bar, leaving the stadium seating tables to those who want to watch the game but eat in peace. There isn't a kids' menu per se, but what toddler wouldn’t be excited about burgers and cheesecake lollypops? 222 W. 44th St., between 7th and 8th Aves.; 212.680.0252

In Park Slope, burger joint Brooklyn Flipster’s offers seven flat screens, hot dogs and chicken fingers, and a healthy does of baby tolerance. 444 9th St., Park Slope; 718.832.5500

And for all the pint-sized Giants and Jets fans, Modell’s sells Manning and Sanchez jerseys in sizes 2T and up ($40). Sorry, no onesies at this time. 1535 3rd Ave.; 212.996.3800
