A new class teaches tots how to give back

Considering that sharing is a nearly impossible feat for babies and toddlers, the concept of charity may seem totally out of their grasp. But Little Givers thinks otherwise. The new enrichment program aims to teach preschoolers what it means to be a caring citizen through 50-minute classes centered on fun, age-appropriate activities like baking cookies for senior homes or bagging lunches for food programs. Spots are still available for the spring semester, which begins January 30th at various locations on the UWS, DUMBO, Park Slope and Cobble Hill—and soon at Whole Foods Tribeca. $330 per semester.  Check littlegivers.com for dates, times, and locations.
