We just got word that PBS Kids is debuting the first-ever Dr. Seuss-inspired television show. Targeted toward the preschool set, "The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That" will feature the voice of Martin Short—and, of course, The Fish, Thing 1, and Thing 2, among others. Premieres Labor Day, on PBS.

Moms who use sleep expert Marc Weissbluth's Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child as a Bible can now track their baby's sleeping patterns on their iPhones. The people behind Nook Sleep Systems would argue that the crib mattress is the most important aspect of the nursery, yet the one that is generally overlooked. Their new Pebble Mattress ($610) is made of eucalyptus fibers and features an uneven, "pebbled" surface that apparently creates a first-of-its-kind breathable mattress—one that majorly reduces suffocation risks.
