FitBump launches next week
It can take serious effort to stay active and healthy while carrying around a growing belly. That’s why Kira Kohrherr, a local publicist with a soft spot for fitness, health, and nutrition, is launching FitBump on June 1. Her idea is to offer a one-stop resource—info, products, services—that supports a range of pre- and post-natal wellness goals. For starters, expecting moms can sign up for Thrive Foods, Fitbump's food service, which delivers farm-to-table, plant-based, gluten-free meals like blueberry breakfast oatmeal and lasagna primavera—in air-tight, BPA-free containers (three meals a day for five or seven days, from $28 per day). There’s also maternity fitness wear with grow-with-your-body features like hidden back zipper expansion panels and expandable mesh insets (from $55). Browsers can also shop for relevant products like ZoN fitness equipment, Bayberry Naturals bath and beauty, Dr. Robin for Kids skincare, Zoe B. Organic dishes and toys, Squooshi food pouches, and MiYim toys. Finally, the site promises weekly articles on fitness, nutrition, baby care, style, holistic health, and green living. Curbing the cravings is up to you.
