New York City's Cutest Newborn

Late this spring, the Queens Zoo welcomed a baby pudu—the world's smallest deer. The ridiculously adorable (and yet unnamed) fawn hangs out near the other South African animals, close to the Andean bears and peccaries. She weighed just one pound at birth and is still nursing. Catch a glimpse of the cuteness before the doe tops out at her full-grown weight of a whopping 20 pounds, at best.

The Queens Zoo is open daily; 10am to 5pm weekdays and 10am to 5:30pm weekends (April through October). Admission is free for kids under 3, $5 for kids 3 to 12, $8 for adults, and $6 for seniors.
