More Syrup, Please
A cool new brand for toddler girls in the city
The baby clothing market is so saturated at this point that it’s hard to get excited about new brands. Yet here we are coveting the entire collection of blingy adorableness from Syrup, launched last week by two NYC moms—one of whom used to be the children’s wear buyer for Bergdorf Goodman.
With a city-kid aesthetic that’s sort of Butter So Soft-meets-Flowers By Zoe (only way more affordable), Syrup is all about soft cotton tanks, tees, hoodies and bottoms embellished with girly metallic details like ice cream cones, butterflies, and candy.
The line is so fresh that it hasn’t even hit stores yet, but you can shop the entire collection on Syrup’s website, or via private appointment (email email@example.com). All tanks and dresses start at 2T (they source cotton from American Apparel), but hoodies are larger, starting at size 6. Prices range from $22 for a tank top to $52 for a hoodie.
