Let’s Take It Outside

Alfresco WiFi for WAHMs

We’re not sure which is worse: a sobbing toddler pounding at your home-office door, or loiter-slumming at Starbucks. Now that the sun is shining, work-at-home moms have another option—the park. Thanks to partnerships with various non-profit organizations, some of the city’s parks are offering free public WiFi. Unfortunately, Central Park hasn’t rolled it out yet, but for now you can log on at Bryant Park, Union Square Park, Madison Square Park, City Hall Park, Bowling Green, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Stuyvesant Cove, Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park and Jackson Square Park. And when it’s time for lunch or a caffeine fix,  check out this Free Wifi Hotspot List from About.com
