Let the Good Times Roll

A rock-inspired play space opens in Brooklyn

Pretty high on the list of Things that Make Parents Smile is watching their babies dance. That’s the idea behind Frolic!, a 5,000 square-foot play space opening on Williamsburg’s waterfront next month. Inspired by good ol’ rock and  roll, Frolic! offers an assortment of music, dance, art, language and yoga classes for babies and toddlers. But the main attraction for the under-3 set is a mommy-and-me class called Little Rock-its, where tots shake their tiny tushes to a live 3-piece band while learning about instruments, numbers, animals, and letters. Toddlers can also slip down a Rolling Stones-inspired double-tongue slide, rock out on a mini concert stage, or hop on an interactive 1970’s-style VW Bus at the members-only playground. And yes, rockin’ birthday party packages will be in the offing (cue the air guitar solo).
