It’s Pajama Time
Olivia and Owen classes up the PJs scene
Infant sleepwear tends to be so angelic. But once babies hit the toddler mark, most pajama brands start serving up crazy bold prints and cheesy characters. That’s why we find Olivia and Owen totally refreshing. Recently launched by Ferragamo alum (and NYC mom), Christina Lari, the elegant “loungewear” collection for tots features Pima cotton tops and bottoms with lovely details like silk trim and fine embroidery. The collection is small but beautiful, if a tad on the pricey side: the George, a 3-button henley set, is $54.50; the Teddy, whose tuxedo-style top has a silk charmeuse ruffle, runs $85.50 for the set. There’s also one very pretty nightgown (more are expected for the holiday season) called the Isabelle dress, which comes with or without embroidered hearts ($64 - $75). And for kids who like their PJs extra-fancy, there are also five different monogram fonts available.
