Get The Baby A Stylist
Manhattan mom and fashion industry veteran Emily Khasidy just launched The Collective Child — a members-only service that delivers clothing and accessories every month for babies from newborn through 2T. Based on a profile that includes sizing, style, and lifestyle preferences (which moms fill out during registration), a typical delivery includes an assortment of bottoms, a few tops or dresses, a sweater or seasonal piece, and an accessory like shoes, hat, or socks. Expect a mix of brands ranging from contemporary labels like Splendid, DL1961, and Petit Bateau to international and luxury brands like Tinycottons, Donsje, and Oeuf. Each package is curated by a team of stylists and is meant to be interchangeable in order to build a wardrobe. Pieces in the “no” pile can be sent back via a pre-paid return mailer, and there’s an option to receive an alternative item. Prices range from $20 for a tee to $148 for a coat. Membership and shipping is free.
