Get Some Sleep

The folks at NY-based LED company Lighting Science know how tough it is to get a full night of shut-eye when there’s a new baby in the house. Developed with a team of ex-NASA scientists, their newly launched Sleepy Baby Biological LED Lamp Lightbulb ($29.95) filters out over 95 percent of sleep-disrupting blue light. This helps the body release melatonin naturally, promoting a longer and deeper stretch of sleep (yes, please). It screws into any standard lamp or socket, and only uses 3.5 watts of electricity — it can even be safely left on all night (which comes in handy during nighttime feeds and diaper changes).
