EnrichAbility boosts early learning
We're not advocates of preschool prepping. (Shudder.) But we do like the idea of EnrichAbility, a new program that works with little ones ages 18-36 months on six early learning skills: language, social, math, motor, literacy, and transition. Designed by local teacher and Shari's Little Learners founder Shari Messing, along with speech-language pathologist Lisa Colwell, the 90-minute classes are grouped by age (within four months of one another) and offer music, stories, art projects, sensory and physical activities, and snacks. The best part? The classes come to you. Gather a group of four little ones in your apartment or building’s common room; or ask EnrichAbility to make a group for you. Parents and caregivers may be in the room, outside the class, or running errands elsewhere depending on their child’s ability to separate. It’s $100 per child, per class.
