What To Do When The Sleep Books Don’t Work.

Sleepy Planet launches Baby Sleep School

We can all probably agree that the Holy Grail of parenting is a baby who sleeps through the night and takes great naps during the day. To that end, the founders of Sleepy Planet have launched Baby Sleep School, an infant sleep course geared toward parents with babies ages 4 to 18 months. Held at the Pump Station in Santa Monica, each three-hour session includes a thorough assessment of your baby’s current sleep and feeding habits and developmental needs, plus detailed info about sleep environments, scheduling, and bedtime routines; guidance on creating a customized step-by-step sleep plan; and a companion workbook and CD.

Classes are capped at 15 participants; upcoming session dates are Saturday, April 14th, May 19th, and June 30th. $175 for individual parents, $225 for couples (no babies in class, please). Email sleep@sleepyplanet.com to request a registration form.
