Despite the warm and fuzzy appeal of homemade gifts, not everyone has the patience or time to jump on the DIY bandwagon. That’s why we're kinda crazy about Toluca Lake’s new shop, Zookies, where everything has that etsy feel. Zookies was founded twelve years ago by momangeles.com contributor Lora Jakobson—you might have seen their stuff at Fred Segal or Barney’s New York—but this is their first storefront. For the holidays, we dig the car lap pad ($32), which was named Top Travel Toy by Creative Child magazine, and the chalkboard place mats ($15)—not to mention the princess crown and creative super hero capes. Bonus: they'll customize just about anything in the store.
