Nursing Never Looked This Good

Wardrobe musts for the breastfeeding months

Slipping into nursing duds may not be exactly like getting back into your old clothes again, but it's definitely a step closer. And fortunately, the options are getting cuter and cuter (not to mention more and more clever). Here, some of our local faves.

For an easy summer look, head to Bellies, Babies and Bosoms in Glendale to pick up a striped Molly Ades ribbed tank ($48). The zipper offers quick access and a funky edge. The BUN nursing tank ($39.95) at the Pump Station is a fab summer staple, too, with double-layered straps for discretion. But our favorite resource for a complete nursing wardrobe is the new Mom's The Word store in Beverly Grove. Check out the Don't Sweat it, Momma top (pictured, $78)—a lightweight off-the-shoulder sweatshirt with interior camisole—and the soft and pretty Seraphine Portrait Dress ($79). And though it wasn't designed for breastfeeding, the strapless Sibley dress ($178) from Velvet in Brentwood has an elastic top for easy pull-down access and will look adorable long after you stop nursing.
