Booze and Babysitting at Giggles ‘N Hugs
Since opening in Century City this past January, Giggles ‘N Hugs has been rounding out its offerings for kids—most recently adding face-painting, story time, and Xbox and Wii stations for older kids. Now, they’re turning their attention to the grownups: They’ll soon be serving wine and beer on premises (with a two-glass maximum to curb tispy caregiving). And beginning this week, they’re introducing a new evening drop-off babysitting service for kids 3 and up. There’s one staffer for every four children, and reservations are required. Kids get free play time, guided arts and crafts, and dinner. The fee is $60 for three hours (4-7pm) Sunday through Thursday, and $75 for four hours (5-9pm) on Fridays and Saturdays—plus a one-time $35 registration fee. We’re thinking this calls for a quick bite at RockSugar and The Hangover Part II, which opens Thursday in the mall.
