Rosie Pope launches in-store infant care classes

Rosie Pope’s Pregnant in Heels show may have its haters, but celebs sure do love her maternity wear. Now, the high-profile prenatal empress is partnering with the Pump Station to host baby care classes in her Santa Monica boutique. Sure, hospitals offer CPR and breastfeeding classes, but the cushy vibe of an in-store session with other moms to-be—maybe with a glass of bubbly (by which we mean sparking cider)—sounds a smidge more pleasant. The upcoming class lineup includes a two-part baby care seminar (covering everything from diapering to Harvey Karp’s Happiest Baby on the Block soothing techniques) and an infant CPR and first aid session. The baby care class costs $125 per couple for both sessions, and runs Thursday, March 7 and Thursday, March 14 from 6:30 to 9pm. The CPR and first aid class costs $70 per person (or $125 per couple), and is slated for Tuesday, March 26 from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Bonus: attendees receive a 20 percent discount on any Rosie Pope purchases. Call the Pump Station at 310.998.1981 to register.
