It's All In The Transition
Pamper & Play eases separation anxiety
No matter the nursery school, it can incredibly stressful (on everyone) if your toddler has a difficult time separating. And while it's totally par for the course, a little prep can go a long way.
At Pamper & Play’s preschool transition program, parents drop off their children (ages 18 months to 3 years) for two hours of supervised play, art, music, and snack time while parents chill in the nearby lounge—with free coffee and WiFi. The program is aimed at helping children separate while encouraging independent play and socialization. Held two mornings a week, classes are led by background-checked, CPR-certified teachers with backgrounds in early childhood education, health or nutrition, or psychology.
The program just started and runs through May 9. It's $29 per class; organizers suggest two classes per week. And yes, walk-ins are welcome. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
