It's All In The Planning
Personalized self-help books for kids
Watching your child struggle is hard. And local mom Katherine Eskovitz knows what it’s like. So she launched Have a Plan Books, designed to help young ones create their own plans-of-action to get through tough situations. Topics range from daily challenges like bedtime and safety, to heavier stuff like divorce and death (for pets, too). The books can be personalized with names, character features, and photos. Our favorite might be When It’s Time for Bed, I Have a Plan, which comes with a downloadable chat that preps kids for bed through breathing and relaxing techniques (narrated by Jennifer Garner). The hardcover books range from $24.95 to $34.95; personalized copies ship within three days.
