It makes total sense that moms do the heavy lifting during the first few months of a baby's life. But that doesn't mean dads can't play a major role. The Pump Station's new Daddy Panel coaches fathers on how to support breastfeeding, pitch in for nighttime feedings, and watch for signs of postpartum depression. Experts including Alisa Donner, founder of Pregnancy Awareness Month, and therapist Dr. Chen Oren will also discuss dads' participation in the daily routine of diapering, feeding, and bathing—plus the importance of frequent Thank Yous and I Love Yous.

The Daddy Panel will be offered at the Pump Station's Santa Monica location (2415 Wilshire Blvd.) on May 9th at 6:30pm and at the Hollywood location (1248 Vine St.) on May 16th at 6:30pm. (And yes, it's okay to attend as a couple.) Register by calling the Santa Monica store at 310.998.1981, or the Hollywood store at 323.469.5300. The $10 fee includes beer and hot dogs. No joke.
