First Dibs At Plush
The snazzy trade show hosts a consumer day
Trade shows can be a bit of a bore, but we tend to find some pretty good stuff at Plush. And this year, the luxury baby and toddler show will once again open its doors to the public with a consumer showcase—on Sunday June 9th, from 11:30am to 4:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Show organizers promise exciting pre-order opportunities (some with discounts) as well as product debuts. For starters, eco-friendly Romina Furniture and Jané, a Spanish stroller brand with a pretty cool three-wheeled tandem model, will make its entree into the US. Other unveilings will include Ace Baby Furniture's animal-themed mobile valet, 3 Sprouts' stroller organizer, and Brinware's new thermal storage containers. A Winnie the Pooh-themed “Mommy and Me” fashion show is planned, courtesy of Disney Consumer Products, along with balloon artists, magicians, and face painters—so there will be plenty of distractions to stave off meltdowns. Tickets are $35; kids 3 and under attend free
