Exhibiting Excellence

The Zimmer introduces new baby programs

We like the sound of the Zimmer Children’s Museum‘s new V.I.B Hour for “Very Important Babies.” Every Wednesday from 9 to 10am, the museum is open only to children 24 months and younger, giving the wee ones an opportunity to explore the interactive space without getting trampled by the older crowd; children under 2 are free, regular adult admission applies. There’s also a new class called “Sensation City,” where crawling and toddling babies up to age 2 get a tactile tour of the Zimmer’s exhibits, exploring different textures through structured sensory activities. Come ten o’clock the doors open to the big kids again, so we suggest getting there early to soak up as much hands-on culture as possible.
