The Little Seed introduces craft classes
A new eco craft class has sprouted up at Soleil Moon Frye’s Earth-conscious children’s boutique, the Little Seed. Led by the store’s window display artist, the Sunday morning classes will teach kids ages 3-7 how to fashion recycled materials into a new toy or work of art. Imagine paper towel tubes converted into race cars or grocery bags repurposed as kites—all constructed using nontoxic art supplies, of course. Younger participants still honing their upcycling skills will be helped along with partially-prepped materials to ensure the process is fun and not frustrating. After all, the message Little Seed wants to get across is, it’s easy being green.
