Navigating the Renegade Craft Fair

Walking a craft show that has more than 250 vendors can be overwhelming. (Or impossible, if you've got a toddler underfoot.) But that's no reason to miss the traveling Renegade Craft Fair, which returns on July 20th and July 21st at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. To keep the browsing manageable, stick to this short list of talented crafters.

Hunt down Tiny Whales for poly-combed cotton graphic onesies, tees, and tanks (love the big-faced Wildcat, Friends With Sasquatch, and Navajo Owl prints). We also like the looks of orangeheat’s onesies and kids' tees, as well as nursery posters. If you're into classic style, check Mabo Children's Clothier for sweet bubbles, boys' old-school rompers, and nautical stripe tees. Finally, you can browse for eclectic nursery accessories like Spicy Manda Roll's one-of-a-kind mobiles, made from scrapbook paper, custom digital illustration portraits by Emmie Bean, and gorgeous, brightly patterned alpaca blankets from Asher Market.

The fair runs 11am to 7pm both days. Admission is free, and there will be plenty of mobile eats from the organic Green Truck and handmade Front Porch Pops (yum).
