A Spoonful Of Sugar
Dylan’s Candy Bar Sweetens LA
We know, we know. Sugar is a bad idea for kids. But we can’t help being excited about Dylan’s Candy Bar, which opens its first-ever west coast store this week. Dylan Lauren has put her now-famous Candy Land touch on the historic Original Farmers Market, sweetening the space with candy button tables, candy topiaries and peppermint-swirled columns that look (almost) good enough to eat. The boutique will offer candies and chocolates from all over the world, plus a chocolate dipping fountain, made-to-order cotton candy, and fresh-popped popcorn. And though there is no designated party room, an off-site celebration service is in the works.
