Three Dallas designers we dig

It feels good to buy locally made products. Especially when they’re sold online—meaning we can shop from the comfort of our air-conditioned homes. Right now, we’re really digging the cute stuff from these Dallas-based webshops.
Jodi Wynne of Rodeo Monkey favors red and black over pink and blue (and cool over cutesy) for her one-of-a-kind bibs, blankets, burp cloths, hooded towels, and pacifier clips—all made from eye-popping textiles. New for summer: girls’ matching bloomer and Mary Jane sets. Prices range from $7 for a pair of pacifier clips to $35 for blankets.
Vintage Loving Momma owner Melissa Howell turns retro fabrics into hippie-chic pillowcase dresses and headbands for girls three months and older. She pays attention to the details, from accenting pinwheels with vintage buttons to ruffling dress hems. Prices start at $8; a matching dress and headband set is $22.
Specializing in embellished onesies, Ashley Lauderdale decorates super-soft cotton flannel bodysuits with colorful mini pom trim and buttons, for $25 a pop. Each style in her The Lil’ Nest shop features an applique, like a butterfly, dinosaur, or southern state silhouette. College sports fans will flip for the football lace design in school colors (yes, SMU, TCU, and UT are covered).
