Fun Toddler Art Classes

Scribbles and Dribbles at the Perot Museum

The new Perot Museum has announced its spring and summer lineups. For the one- and two-year-old set, there’s Scribbles and Dribbles; the theme for the spring session (which starts the week of March 25) is “The Art of Eric Carle” and for the summer session (beginning the week of June 17) it’s “Art Buffet,” with an exploration of the sweet paintings of Wayne Thiebaud. There’s one 45-minute class per week for eight weeks, and there are six day/time options, some of which have already sold out—so sign up soon. Each week, tots (and the adults that accompany them) will dig into safe tools and materials to create colorful works of art, and a few messes, too. Sessions begins with a song and end with a mini dance party. There’s a whole lotta goo in between, so dress little ones accordingly. The sessions cost $150 for members and $200 for non-members.
