The Lot opens in East Dallas
At the Lot, a new East Dallas restaurant and bar, craft beers and cocktails (and fresh-pressed juices) are served alongside farm-to-table plates by former York Street chef Sharon Hage. The casual atmosphere is made for family meals. We especially appreciate an outdoor area equipped with picnic benches, seesaws, corn hole, and a community chalkboard for doodling. Everything on the short-but-sweet kids’ menu—which doubles as an origami toy—costs just five bucks. (Our favorite is the cashew butter and honey sandwich with a side of veggie sticks.) The Lot opens at 5pm for dinner, seven nights per week. They’ll be open for lunch (from 11am on) starting March 25.
