Winter, Sans Frozen Fingers
The Snow Much Fun exhibit opens at CCM
Despite festive intentions, bundled outings to the ice skating rink don't always end well. We're thinking a trip to the Snow Much Fun exhibit at the Chicago Children’s Museum sounds like a much better idea. Through January 5, little ones are invited to explore winter indoors—whirling on the sock rink, making snow forts from faux ice blocks, dressing up a snowman, riding on a sled, and even working a snowball catapult. The museum is open Friday through Wednesday, 10am - 5pm, and Thursdays, 10am - 8pm. Adults and kids pay $14 per person; babies under 1 year are admitted for free. Just be sure to pack snacks; there are no restaurants on site.
