Balance Bike Evolution

Heritage Littles’ new ride

Balance bikes had us at "easy to learn." And now that the gearless, chainless two-wheelers are here to stay, it's all about who can make the coolest ones. Naturally, we're fans of local maker, Heritage Littles, and were thrilled to discover their latest version, made from recycled plastic milk jugs. It has an adjustable seat height, easy-grip handles, and comes in red, orange, blue, green, or black. The bike costs $250, unless you spring for the luxury edition ($400), which comes with an English leather saddle and grips that can be moved to a regular bike once your little one is ready. Order online or stop into the Lakeview shop for a test ride.
