Valentine’s Day Is More Fun With A Baby

Festive gifts for your little sweetheart

For some, V-Day means jewelry and champagne. For others, it’s an eye roll. But most of us can agree that it’s darned cute to deck out the wee ones in something festive. Magic Beans (312 Harvard St., Brookline) stocks sweetly-themed pink terrycloth bibs ($17.99), made by Maine-based A Mom Who Knows. Lester & Harry’s (115 Newbury St.) has a cherry-red Tartine et Chocolat party dress ($102), festive for February 14 and versatile for springtime. Pair that with the heart-adorned red leather Mary Janes ($26.60) from Tadpole (58 Clarendon St.). Beacon Hill’s Red Wagon (69 Charles St.) carries Valentine’s Day books and LeTop’ Rosebud line, which includes pink-footed jumpsuits, rompers, dresses, and bonnets for infants. For something less pink, pop into West Elm (160 Brookline Ave.) and snag their new Valentine pillow ($34), inspired by Indonesian batik motifs, pieced and patched with blue cotton, ribbon, and red stitching.  Or try this red hand-stitched panda tee ($28), created by former Mulberry Road owner Tracey Davidow in her Vermont studio.
