Toddler-Friendly Eats In Fort Point

Bee’s Knees Supply Company opens (right near the Children’s Museum)

Fort Point needed a good food shop. And now it has one: Bee’s Knees Supply Company, an organic grocery, prepared foods, and ice cream store, opened this week. Moms will like the organic dairy section, deli sandwiches made with local produce and house-cured meats, and ready-made dinners. For babies, choose from the full line of Ella’s Kitchen organic squeezers and snacks; toddlers can try grilled cheese panini and housemade pizzas, featuring locally sourced cheeses, veggies, and bread. For dessert, Bee’s Knees is the only place in Boston that serves Jamaica Plain’s Batch ice cream by the scoop. And the shop’s chocolatier can create custom desserts for parties. In warm weather, an outdoor patio promises sunshine, seating, and plenty of room for strollers.
