Post-Natal Pilates In Back Bay

OMBE launches classes for new moms

On April 4, Copley Square’s OMBE (One Mind Body Earth) is launching a weekly post-natal Pilates class. The hour-long session meets Thursdays at 11am, and focuses on rebuilding strength where new moms need it most: abs, core, and that pesky pelvic floor. A first-time drop-in costs $15, and subsequent drop-ins are $25. A 10-pack of classes is $200, with a 10 percent discount in April. OMBE also offers a free half-hour consultation to evaluate your physical fitness before you sign up. No childcare on Thursdays? Starting May 2, moms of pre-crawlers can try OMBE’s new (free!) drop-in outdoor mom-and-baby yoga classes, which will be held weekly through October, weather permitting, in front of Trinity Church at Copley Square (Thursdays at noon). It’s BYOB—bring your own blanket for the baby (and a yoga mat for yourself).
