Life Just Got Easier
Local mom Lisa Farell was tired of packing lunches for her kids. So she started Red Apple Lunch, a service that will deliver school/daycare/camp meals to your door. Choose your lunches for the week online—options include a main, fruit, veggie, treat, and drink (you can also opt in for snacks), pick the days of the week you want it delivered, then choose your delivery window. Daily lunches start at $7.50, and you can choose from options like sun butter and strawberry spread on crustless wheat or hummus bowls. Meals stay fresh for two days, and with every lunch purchased, you’ll be providing a healthy snack to a child in need through the Greater Boston Food Bank. Right now delivery is available in Arlington and Cambridge. Delivery to Greater Boston will launch in September.
