Family Dining Jackpot
There’s a lot to love about the new Coppersmith restaurant that just opened last week in SouthBoston (40 W 3rd St.). Not only do they serve up dishes prepared with organic and locally sourced ingredients, but the casual, industrial-style space welcomes families with two large (operating) food trucks parked in the dining room and kid fodder like grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches, pasta with butter or marinara, hamburgers, and baked chicken fingers—all for only $7 each. Each dish comes with a salad, fresh fruit, or fries. There's also cold-pressed juice from Boston Juicing and plenty of space for strollers. For now, Coopersmith opens at 5pm for dinner; they’ll start serving lunch next week at 11:30am.
