A New Place To Play

The Little Lovage Club offers classes and space to party

Coco Baby boutique’s play and party space went through quite the makeover this summer. Besides freshly-painted walls, a massive chalkboard installation, and new furniture, it has a new name: Little Lovage Club (run by the same folks who make Lovage Baby Blends). But what we really like are the new classes for fall. Messy Munchkin Art (for toddlers aged 1 -2) features sand and water play and finger-painting, all with non-toxic materials ($285 for one child; $75 for a second; starts September 17). Babies (and parents) can learn early communication skills at Tiny Signs, starting September 22 ($160; bring siblings 30 months and younger for free). And, kids’ singer-songwriter and party fixture Marcie Joy is also running a six-week series of classes with singing, dancing, puppetry, and musical instruments ($120 for one child; $50 for a second; starts September 12).
