A guide to the new subscription delivery services for moms
Daily deals are so 2011. The latest cool way to shop is the subscription delivery service. Dozens of new companies have popped up over the past six months, delivering curated monthly care packages on a subscription basis. We’ve got the deets on the most popular ones for moms.
What you’ll get: Four or five beauty samples from emerging and elite brands, as well beauty tips and tricks.
How it works: Subscribe to Birchbox, and you’ll receive your first shipment about one month later; you can cancel your subscription at any time.
What it costs: $10 per month, or $110 for 12 months
Best reason to sign up: Birchbox Points. For every full-size product you purchase in the Birchbox Shop, you’ll earn points toward future purchases; you can also earn points by reviewing products and referring friends to the service.
What you’ll get: Four or five trial-sized samples of new wellness products for expecting moms, new moms, and babies ages 0-12 months.
How it works: Bluum boxes are based on a different (surprise) theme every month.

What it costs: $39.99 a month.
Best reason to sign up: You’ll have more time to shop for the fun stuff.
